Ronan O'Shea

Ronan J. O'Shea is a writer and journalist from London. Bad Bread, Good Blues is his first novel

I have written for titles including New York Post, National Geographic Traveller, Medium, Evening Standard, The Independent, The Telegraph, Lonely Planet, Escapism, Foodism, Travel Weekly, LADbible, Headspace, Talkspace, bInspired, easyJet Traveller, Oryx, Hotel F&B Magazine and more.

I have also worked  as a sub editor for Tatler, Vanity Fair, Thomas Cook Magazine, Oryx, bInspired and Privat Air, and a commissioning editor at  British Airways. I previously worked for Square Up Media as web editor on music festival website Festival Baby

After pitching and writing a health feature for LADbible, I've been a regular news writer for the website and a frequent contributor of sponsored content. In March 2018, the title asked me to conduct an interview on the topic of domestic abuse with Home Secretary, Amber Rudd.

I have strong experience as a news writer for The Independent and LADbible, and have written numerous advertorials (in-house) for Atlas, bInspired, Oryx, easyJet Traveller, N by Norwegian and Wizz Air.

I have also worked as a content writer for various private clients and welcome enquiries regarding freelance feature commissions, branded content and advertorial work. For business enquiries, please contact me at: My travel blog, The Anxious Travel Writer, can be found here.
